The horse's stable is made of stone walls and a slated roof. The floor is made of cement and straw is spread in this floor for the horse. If the horse is working he is fed with oats and hay three times a day. If he is doing no work and in the stable he is fed twice a day with the same food. About once a month the horse is taken to the blacksmith to be shod. In spring the horses hair is clipped.
The various calls for the different kinds of animals are tuk! tuk! for hens. "How How!" for cow "giney! giney!" for goats and "feed feed" for ducks.
