    I can't sty now but if you are at the bush near the fort on May eye, and bring a bottle of holy water and a pot-hooks with you, you can take me back from the Good-People Stand away from the fairy bush, and spill the Holy water round you in a ring. You will see me coming ou of the fort with the fairies. Throw one end of the pot-hooks at me and pull me inside the ring of holy water with you and no matter what happens don't stir from that. The man did as she told him and when he saw her coming out of the fort he caught her with the hangers. The Good People kept shouting and making faces at them until morning but they could not ross the holy water, so the man was able to take his wife home again.

    She keeps four goats as bold as brass,
    Along the road-side grazing.
    Stone walls do not a prison make.
    For cattle are so stubborn,
    So French and German leave they take,
    These goats of Mollie Mourne.

    To save them from the thunder,
    And after saying her prayers that night,
