54 yrs. - In the days long ago the people used to make bugles out of a straw. They used to get straw and cut a tongue in it with a penknife and then blow it. The girls used to make chains for their necks with daisys. they used get a daisy and put a hole in it then put another one into that and the same way all the time. The boys used to make cribs for catching birds out of elders. They used to get four lats first and nail them together.
The boys used make snares for catching rabbits out of snare wires and twist them together and put a loop on one end of it when the rabbit would run into it. It would get small and kill him then.
