The fiery ditch is in Bourke’s farm. One night a few men set traps on this ditch to catch rabbits. They went about twelve or one o clock to see the traps but as they approached the ditch they saw that it was all on fire. They continued until they were just up to their traps when they heard something squealing and all of a sudden the fire quenched. Then one of the men lit a match but it was quenched on him and the same thing happened the second and the third match he lit. As he was lighting the(continues on next page)- Informant
