- Cures for Warts
A cure for a wart is to rub the first
snail you meet to the wart and then
put the snail on a white thorn bush.
Another cure for a wart is to get a
piece of ivy and cut it into the shape of a cross and put it into a manure heap and according as the ivy is getting rotten the wart will be getting smaller.
Take a piece of meat from the chimney of another person's house without being seen and rub it to the wart: then bury the meat in a manure heap. When the meat is rotten the wart will disappear.- Collector
