- Cow Tying
There are certain ways for tying cows such as with a chain around the neck or by tying them with a rope by the horns or by running their heads into an opening in the rack which is in the cowhouse and this opening is tightened in their necks by means of a running bolt so that the cow could not pull back her head.
There is a bush growing called quick-beam and the old people used to stick a small twig of it at each corner of their tillage fields on May Eve to bring luck to their crops and their cattle.- Collector
