  1. Once a family lived on hill near Dundrum. A member of the family lay on his death bed.
    The fairies used to come singing at the back of the house. One evening late after listening to the singing for some time, the sick man said that he would go and thank them, for their singing. He went outside, but never returned, nor was he ever seen again.
