The weather can be judged by the behaviour of certain animals. If donkeys bray, if cattle chase each other and gather together in the corner of the field, if cats wash their faces, if dogs eat grass and if pigs squeal and grunt loudly you may expect wet weather. Also if cats sit with their backs to fire there will be a storm.
