    There's Thomas Myles, sure he lives on the hill,
    When he'll rise in the morning his squeezers he'll fill,
    When he gets on the road he will make a loud cheer
    And never cry "Stop!" till he lands in Dunleer.
    There's his Uncle Tom, from the very same place,
    He can scarce see the road with the hair of his face.
    He has the Deceiver, likewise the Boyne View
    And he'll show the Turf Cadgers all what he can do.
    There's Pat McGuire, you quickly shall hear,
    He went to sell turf to the town of Dunleer;
    He got such a price that he's leaving his skin
    And he'll show them a gostle
