    The only place that I know where Mass used to be said in Penal times is in Mick Butterly field at the back of a big stone which is still to be seen.

    In the Penal times a relation of my Grand Aunt's used to say Mass in the Churchyard of Clonmore, and he used to say it in Dunany in the Parish of Togher.
    A priest named Father Lawless used to hide in the townland of Salterstown & in the Parish of Togher, and the name of the rock
