  1. There was a small school situated inside the wall at Beaulieu Pond on the right hand side of the Boyne Road as you proceed to Drogheda.
    The schoolmaster was a Protestant and his name Bob Ridley. He was also clerk of Beaulieu Church. His salary is unknown but the scholars paid one penny a week.
    The school was knocked down 60 years ago and there are no ruins left.
