  1. Long ago old women had a rhyme of a prayer here they called the Lord's Prayer in Irish - It ran on -
"Shad Pagra, com in then a mac com-in dan a brath, auger [?] hall com a [?] crsl a [?] a, devin a drietna, throckna. Amen.
Heart of Jesus I adore Thee,
Heart of May I implore thee,
Heart of Joseph pure and sweet,
In these three hearts I place my trust.
"Change not thyself with the weight of years
Child of thy master faithful and dear,
Don't choose the cross for the coming week
For that is more than He bids us seek
Bend not your arm with tomorrow's load,
For that my be left to the glorious God.
For daily He only said to thee
Take up your Cross and follow me."
"Take by the cross, take up thy cross,
Don't heed its weight or length,
He who heed and died thereon,
