  1. There are many people in this district who believe in doing things on certain days or month in the year.
    The old people say that you would be cured from any disease if you rubbed your face on the grass on the [?] May. it is said that Friday is the luckiest day of the year to begin any work. Saturday if the unluckiest day to start any work because it is said if you start on a Saturday you will never have it finished. there is an old saying about Saturday which is a follows.
    "Saturday's flitting is a short sitting." There is an old saying about any people who are sick in the Spring

    "May will tell whither you will live or die
    The three days borrowed by April from March are called the "borrowed days or "the days of the old cow." There is an old saying about when the days are getting long which is as follows. Candlemas Day throw the candle and candlestick away. It is said after new years day that each day gets longer by
