- There is a farm near my house and there is a Churn in it. The Chrn is six years old and the sides are round.
The servant makes the butter twice a week in Summer and Winter. When strangers come to the place they help at the Churning to see how is the butter made. It takes half an hour to make the butter.
This Churning is done by hand. It is a dash churn. The way they know how the butter is made the lid is taken off the churn. Then the butter is taken out of it and put into the butter bow. The bowl is a wooden one. The butter milk(continues on next page)
