    was in the dish but two pistols.
    "Now", says Ball, "You take one of the pistols and I'll take the other. They're both loaded. If your can prove to me that my brother is in hell you can shoot me but if you can't I'll shoot you", says he.
    "No, No", says the Priest, "I won't agree to use the pistols but let me go home and get my stole".
    "All right", says Ball, "We'll wait for you but you'd better hurry up".
    In about ten minutes the Priest came back and two Alterboys with him. Both of them had on their vestments and they had Holy Water with them.
    When the three of them reached the gate lodge the Priest began reading prayers. He kept on reading them and he going up the avenue.
