When the potatoes are planted weeds begin to grow up, then the farmer has to get a grubber and take all the weeds away, and burn them when they get dry. The grubber is drawn by one horse. There are little iron feet on it that cut up the weeds. Then the farmer gets his plough and land the potatoes a second time to still further strengthen the stalks(continues on next page)
