    At christmas people decorate their houses with holly and it is left untouched until twelve days after Christmas.
    On the first of May people put a bust in their yards and put flowers on it, this is called a May bush.
    Palm is given out at mass on palm Sunday and when finished with it is hung in the outhouses to bring luck on the cattle.
    Holy water is kept in every house to keep away evil.
