- Bective Church is situated inside the walls of Bective demesne near Bective Abbey on the main road from Navan to Trim.
It was built by Richard Bolton in the year 1851. There is cement slab over the door of the Church and the inscription that is on it is:-"To promote the worship of God
Ric (D) Bolton Esq. (R E) of Bective Abbey
Erected this Church at his sole expense for his tenants and neighbours in the year of our Lord
MDCCCLI"There are four spires on the belfry, and there is a Celtic cross on the South end.
There is a vault underground in it. The shape of the Church is oblong. There are two yew-trees on each side of the walk at the gate and two more at the Church entrance. There are many yew-trees about the graveyard and there are also stone seats here and there through the grounds.
The grounds are very well kept and the graves are very well kept and there are nice flowers planted on them.
