  2. I live in the townland of Knock in Co. Meath. There are fourteen families living in it. Most of the houses are slated. There are about four or five thatched houses. In one of the thatched there lives people of the name of Flood. One of these girls is over seventy years of age + she can tell plenty of funny stories. She can also speak Irish. There is also another woman whose name is Mrs Grimbley. She is ninty years ago This woman was living in this townland in a thatched house for many years with her son. She is now living with her daughter in Dublin. There are about two hundred acres of land in Knock. Mr McKeever of Gravelmount owned one hundred acres of this land for
