- The name of my townland is Robinstown, in the parish of Delvin. In the townland there is a well still called " Tobar na Spideóg ", so the townland must have taken its name from this well. There are about eight families living in it. The people are scarce. There are only about thirty one. There is no name commoner than another in it. The roofing commonest is slates and there is only one thatched. There are two people over seventy, Mrs Flynn and Mrs Gillic. They have no knowledge of Irish. The houses are not too long erected. There are no ruins to be seen.
