  1. Treasure
The late Mr. Growney of Ballinvalley Delvin dreamed about money for three nights. He was told in the dream that he would get it in a fort called Cnoc Aniss in MacNiece's field in Ballinvalley. He went to get it and took a crowbar & a spade with him. When he began to dig, a little hole appeared & the crowbar went down. He could hear it rattling against money but he could hear sounds like moaning too, below under the fort so he ran off as fast as he could and was afraid ever to go back again.
