Get laurel leaves,and chop them finely. Boil them in lard, leave the mixture to cool, and then apply it to the burn.Ringworm.
The roots of bog-sorrel mixed with unsalted butter, and rubbed in a ring round the sore. The sore cannot pass that. - Mrs. McDonnell, Stonestown makes the cure of the "Burn" by mixing laurel leaves and lard and boiling them.
