- One time a minister was having a ceremony in all Saints Church in Mullingar. Before the ceremony he sent a messengar to Paul the Butcher for meat.
The messenger came back and stood with his shoulder against one of the pillars in the Church. The minister was preaching. In his sermon he said:-" What did Paul say".The minister meant St. Paul. The boy thought he meant Paul the Butcher. The boy said from the far end of the church " Not another bit of meat will he give you until you pay the ould debt you owe him".- Collector
