- The old people can foretell fairly accurately the sort of weather we will have by certain signs. They know by the sun, moon, stars, clouds and the rainbow.
When there are streamers from the sun it is said we may expect rain. It denotes hardship when the new mood lies on its back. We may also be prepared for rain when the stars twinkle in the sky.
