  1. There is a square garden with a hedge all round it in one of Mr. Murray's fields. This field is situated on the bog road about half a mile from Shandona Bride in the townland of Kenny, five miles west of Mullingar. The garden is known as the "Priest's Garden" and this is how it got the name. During the Penal Days a priest used to say mass under a bush which stood in the middle of the garden. The
