We have a mare and pony also which we call Kitty and Charley. They are out in the fields in the Summer and are put into a stable in the Winter time. They are never tied as there is a division between them in the stable.
We keep pigs sometimes and when we are calling them to their food we say "Hurish, Hurish". - They say here when cattle are dying on a farmer if a goat is put in amongst them unknown to him and he does not drive it out the luck will change.
