  1. A farmer by the name of Wiliam Bracken of Donamoney. He went to herd one evening, and he saw a fairy sitting upon a rock. He watched the fairy until he came up to him, then he caught him, and told him, that he would kill him if he did not give him some money. On that account I'll fill your pockets to the brim with gold.
    He watched the fairy until he had his pockets full. The fairy told him not to open his pockets until he would go home. He let the fairy go and when he went home his pockets were full of horse dung.
