- There lived a man the name of Dowd. He had a large farm in which he had cattle grazing. One day he went out to bush a gap and as he was cutting bushes around his farm he went into the fort and cut some bushes.
The next morning he went out to look after his cattle and there was one missing. He went to the fort and he found one of his best bullocks dead. So he never cut a bush in his fort again- Collector
