- One night John Walsh and two other men were going home the Ballymulvey road. They were passing Mr. Kearn's gate when John Walsh who was in the middle fell to the ground. The other two men carried him into Mr McGee's house. It was about an hour before he opened his eyes, and when the two men asked him what happened to him he told them that he had seen a woman who had stared him and he had fallen. It is believed that it was one of the Ballymulvey monks' servants that Walsh saw.
