- When the Holy Family were going to Egypt they fell among thieves. One of the thieves name was Dismas. The thieves wanted to kill the Holy Family but Dismas would not let them do so. He took the Holy Family to his own hut. When they entered, there was a woman with a child who had a terrible disease inside.
When the Blessed Virgin was rested she gave a bath to the Infant Jesus. When she had this done she told the woman to bathe her child. The woman did so ans the child was cured.
Dismas was afterwards the penitent thief.- Collector
