    when you are not looking for it rub it on the warts. Then stick a thorn through it and throw it up in the bushes and whilst the snail is withering away, the warts will be withering away too.
    A man named John Rogers has the Cure of warts, but it is a Charm which he will tell to no one. Any person who wants the warts cured has only to tell the man the number of warts. From that day on which he tells him the warts will be going away.

    Now we come to the time of St. Patrick when great wonders and cures took place. When he was travelling from Granard to Ardagh he left many marks in places which are to be seen to the present day and that commemorate his time.
    About half way between Ardagh and Edgeworthstown there is a place known as Ballinree
