- A man named Mr Mulligan was proceeding home on horse-back one night. As he was passing by a grave-yard, a cavalryman came out of the yard, and he began to attack the man. Every time the cavalryman attempted to strike the man, a priest clothed in full vestments came between the man and the cavalry-man, and stopped there till the cavalryman went on his way.Mr Mulligan proceeded home, but he died a few days afterwards and the horse always had a sort of shivering.
