The following birds are found in this district - robins, thrushes, blackbirds, wrens, swallows, yellow hammers, jackdaws, hawks, willie wag tails, sparrows and beancrakes.
The robin builds its nest in a bush. The colour of the robin's eggs is brown with red dots on them.
The sparrow builds its nest in holes in the wall. The sparrow builds it nest with mud and hay and moss. The colour of the swallows eggs is white with brown dots on them.
The thrush builds its nest in the hedge. The colour of the thrush's eggs is white with blue dots.
The swallow builds its nest in the sheds.
The blackbird builds its nest in the ditch. It builds its nest with moss and straw and lines it inside with feathers.
