    this story might be true because situated near the lane is a rath called "Ráithín na Taisce" or the "Rath of the store".
    The man who hid this treasure lived in the mountain, and he chased the people to rob their gold. These people were called the unfortunates. The unfortunates used to hide in this tunnel. When Franey found this tunnel out he hid his money in it and the unfortunates never hid there any more.
    Long ago when war was on in Ireland people had to hide away their money lest it would be stolen from them.
