    dance in the bride's house at night.
    In the olden days straw boys came to the house and dressed in women's clothes and tied straw on their legs.
    When they came to the house they danced and sang songs.
    After that they got drink and cakes.
    When Mr. Harold Goodbody was getting married the people took the horses from the carriage and pulled it from the station to Kilcoursey. They also lit fires on Phillipstown Hill and let rocket off on the railway.
