- Toothache:
Very few people suffered from toothaches long ago, but anyone that did went to the "Blessed Well".
This well called Saint Brigid's well is situated in a field in Castletown. People had great belief in it. They washed the tooth with the water and said some prayers. Before leaving they left some article behind them as a token. There are certain days to go there also. This well is there yet.- Collector
