The townland is hilly and boggy but there is good land in part of it.
There is a wood on top of the Hill of Bellair. - CooldoroughaMy home district is Cooldorougha. It is mostly a hilly place with a lot of fences and furze growing on the hills. These are called the hills of Cooldorougha. There are about fourteen families in it and roughly seventy-two people there. Flynn is the most common name in it. They are all thatched except one.There was a thatched church in this place one time and it was burned. There was also a grave yard in it one time but there is no trace of it now. Duffy's own the ground where there were.There were people named Leonards who were weavers and they emigrated to America.
