- St. Kierans Well:
There is a well about three miles outside Birr in a place called Clareen.
The name of the well is St. Kierans. People go to it in April and pray at the well.
The well is in a field with bushes all around it. There are many stories about the well and about St. Kieran. St. Kieran used the well when he was alive(continues on next page)
