- (continued from previous page)In the castle hall there is a curious figure of a horseman carved in stone, which was exhibited in the Dublin Exhibition in 1853. The figure was found in year 1844 in a rath on Knock-na-man that is "the hill of God" or "hill of the Sun" or "hill of the Alter" south of the castle.
