- There was a path through Mullin's field Whiterock. The field is called the Mass Path field. It led to a big stone or rock where Mass used to be said in the Penal times. The path is not there still but the rock is.There was a Mass Path about a quarter of a mile from Tinahely. The path was across a field to the lower road, where Mass was said. It is thought that there must have been a chapel there sometime. There is a style there still because people go that way to the other road, but the Mass Path cannot be seen.
