    Then he knocked at the farmer's door for it was after dark and the farmer's wife let him and the tailor in. The priest bade the tailor to talk to the child that was there in the cradle roarin' and screechin the same as ever.
    The tailor then tould the child to sit up an' tell who he was and the child roared and screeched until the priest commanded him to speak.
    "If you take me and cross the Cuinavarra river at the bridge an' lay me in the water there" says the child ye'll be wiser than ye know at present." The poor woman was terrified at what she heard,
