    a height in the middle where the castle was built, and it is covered with small blackthorn bushes.
    There is a lake in my district called Cornaseer. It was once a small well a woman went to wash clothes at it ans the well sprung into a lake and drowned her. A big stone held up with two little stones is beside that. If you touch it, it is said you will have two heads on you, and if you lift a stone and throw it at the big stone you are liable to turn into an animal in Cornaseer. At the same place or near that place there was a well and two women began to fight about the well, and it is said that the well moved, there is another well near that place and there is supposed to be a white cat guarding it at night.
    In Cornaseer also there are big stones and it is said that the giants threw them from Ardhill Mountain, and the track of the giant's fingers on them. In Cornaseer lake there was a woman drowned and she had a white apron on her and it is said that her apron was seen on the bush afterwards. On Ardhill Mountain there is a track where the black pig
