    In Pullabawn there is a place called * ''Beating Bawn'' and it is said that if you get into it, it will be very difficult to get out, and it if from that place that Pullabawn got its name.
    * The old people pronounce the above the ''Betten Bawn.'' The old people have it that there is a child buried there and if a person walks on its grave after six o' clock in the evening, he is supposed to go astray.
