    about a man living near Moynehall fort. It is said that on one night in a field near his home there was a dance and lovely music going on. He tried to get by unnoticed by he was pulled in amongst them and he danced away and had a great time and he knew no more until he awoke in bed next morning. It is said that the fairies come out and dance on the fort at Borareety on Halloween night. It is also stated that they have a pot of gold hidden in the for.An old story says that a child was stolen from the fort at Thomascourt by the fairies.
