    they carried fish with them.
    Fortunately there were no lives lost locally during the storm.
    All the people were in bed when the storm rose at 12 o'clock and they kept indoors until the storm abated.
    Of course a large number of houses were damaged. Any person who ventured to walk out during the height of the storm were blown away like chaff by the strength of the wind.
