    rooms in each house - a parlour kitchen, bedroom, and a sitting room.
    They made clavans out of sally rods for catching birds in the frost.
    They made crosses out of varnished rods and tinaels.
    They made cages for catching butterflies out of green rushes. This is how they made them. They gathered the rushes and they pout three rushes between their fingers. Then they would put one rush after another until they would have it large enough for the butterfly.
