    It is unlucky to make a grave on a Tuesday. The person who is making the grave must cut the sod off on Monday or else it will be unlucky for him.

  3. The Cross Day of the Year

    Holy Thursday is the Cross-day of the year. The people make a cross out of straw because Our Lord lay in a manger of straw. When the cross is made the people hang it over the door or out in the out houses.
