  2. It is unlucky to make a grave on a Tuesday. The person who is making the grave must cut the sod off on Monday or else it will be unlucky for him.

  3. Holy Thursday is the Cross-day of the year. The people make a cross out of straw because Our Lord lay in a manger of straw. When the cross is made the people hang it over the door or out in the out houses.
