    A cure for the whooping-cough is to get two or three leaves of a thistle called the Sacred thistle and boil the leaves and by drinking the juice each day, the cure will follow.
    A cure for the sty is nine gooseberry thorns and rub one of these thorns to the sty each day and then throw this thorns away when you rub it to the sty.
