    There is a story attached to it. Once upon a time a number of men said that they would level the fort.
    They started to level the fort. One day as they were going to their dinner they had the half of it leveled. They had not gone far until their shovels, spades and picks were flung after them. They never went back to level any more of the fort and it remains half levelled until this day.
