  1. I make butter fly cages from rushes, and bird cages from pieces of sticks or wire. My brother makes tops out of spools on which thread had been. I often make toy houses of sticks and stones, and I cover the roof of them with straw or grass. I make dolls of cloths, and I make dresses for them too. I keep these in my toy houses. My brother makes rabbit snares out of fine wire and he gets many rabbits. People can make men's heads out of turnips, and they look quite real as well as fanciful.
